I’m gonna start this off with: I have never been a mule fan. Phew. I said it. It’s out there- no taking it back. I don’t know if it was the way they look on my feet or what, but I have just never liked them, and now that they are back in style I kind of panicked because while I am supposed to write about trends, I didn’t want to just neglect the biggest one of the moment. Now all of that to say, that was until these cuties walked into my life (no pun intended). I had been looking for a pair of mules or mule-like shoes for awhile and wasn’t finding any that I liked on me, when I saw these I knew they had something special about them. The block heel and scalloped detail really drew me in, and the price sold me (even though they are almost too small on me- I had to have them). Now I want to wear them with everything. This just goes to say, don’t knock any style until you try it. I swore off flared crops and mules and now wear my flared crops almost every day and want to wear these mules just the same!

Onto my cute blue floral top, it is so lightweight and is the wonderful non-wrinkle material- aka perfect summer vacay top! Throw it on with a pair of sandals and white shorts and you are vacation-ready, and dress it up with jeans, heels and a clutch like I have it styled here for dinner or a date night! These jeans are my go-to jeans for literally everything. They hold everything in because they are high-waisted (y’all know what I mean) and they never stretch out, which is HUGE for high-waisted jeans. Granted they are pricey, but I have had them for almost 4 years and they still look fantastic. I highly recommend them- they are an amazing investment!
